Guidelines for presentations

Oral Presentations

Oral talks are strictly timed at 12 minutes, followed by around 3 minutes of Q&A/discussion. Slides should be prepared in 16:9 widescreen format (PDF or PowerPoint) and kept to roughly 10 – 12 slides. Presentations should be uploaded here at least 24 hours before the session starts, but please bring a USB stick with your file as a backup.

Posters — A0, Portrait

Posters must be prepared in A0 size (841 × 1189 mm) and portrait orientation. Keep the text concise — covering the title, motivation, methods, results, and conclusions. Use large, legible fonts (title at least 85 pt, body text at least 24 pt), and make sure to be present at your poster during the assigned poster session to discuss your work with attendees. On-site printing is not available.
